Right now, we are in the throes of systemic failure principally because we have only debt-based money substitutes - there is NO money circulating ANYWHERE in the world in any appreciable amount. When people have finally had enough and insist upon using real money again, then Russia and other countries can finally begin to lead the world into a time of prosperity.

Any attempt to resurrect this dying system by injection of more money is doomed to fail, and will only result in more failures, war, and inflation. Russia is making the same mistake that all the Western nations are making, by throwing paper at the problem. Plus, if they really understood the nature of modern warfare, they would realize that they just got taken out by the financial power of the US. The US couldn't have made more direct hits on nearly all the financial capitals of the world if they had used nukes. The advantage of doing it by collapsing the interbank debt markets is that no one even knows they've been hit, let alone by whom.

If there had been even ONE decent sized country which had money in circulation, it would be doing very well right now.

Unfortunately, it is probable that even the best government in the world, one which actually cares about its ordinary citizens, does not have the fortitude and bravery necessary to institute a system with real money. Dig in and wait, we have a long way to go.Willyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13656488633565787213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8019578584768795401.post-512028569795394702008-10-13T21:38:00.000+03:002008-10-13T21:38:00.000+03:00look a little closer to homehttp://www.guardian.co...look a little closer to home

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2007/dec/21/russia.topstories3romanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05441911447197646418noreply@blogger.com
