Americans Never Give Up Your Guns
These days, there are few few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bare arms and use deadly force to defend one's self and possessions.
This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items. People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.
Various armies, such as the Poles, during the Смута (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy walk in the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.
This well armed population was what allowed the various White factions to rise up, no matter how disorganized politically and militarily they were in 1918 and wage a savage civil war against the Reds. It should be noted that many of these armies were armed peasants, villagers, farmers and merchants, protecting their own. If it had not been for Washington's clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently.
Moscow fell, for example, not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lieing guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons: where they were promptly shot.
Of course being savages, murderers and liars does not mean being stupid and the Reds learned from their Civil War experience. One of the first things they did was to disarm the population. From that point, mass repression, mass arrests, mass deportations, mass murder, mass starvation were all a safe game for the powers that were. The worst they had to fear was a pitchfork in the guts or a knife in the back or the occasional hunting rifle. Not much for soldiers.
To this day, with the Soviet Union now dead 21 years, with a whole generation born and raised to adulthood without the SU, we are still denied our basic and traditional rights to self defense. Why? We are told that everyone would just start shooting each other and crime would be everywhere....but criminals are still armed and still murdering and to often, especially in the far regions, those criminals wear the uniforms of the police. The fact that everyone would start shooting is also laughable when statistics are examined.
While President Putin pushes through reforms, the local authorities, especially in our vast hinterland, do not feel they need to act like they work for the people. They do as they please, a tyrannical class who knows they have absolutely nothing to fear from a relatively unarmed population. This in turn breeds not respect but absolute contempt and often enough, criminal abuse.
For those of us fighting for our traditional rights, the US 2nd Amendment is a rare light in an ever darkening room. Governments will use the excuse of trying to protect the people from maniacs and crime, but are in reality, it is the bureaucrats protecting their power and position. In all cases where guns are banned, gun crime continues and often increases. As for maniacs, be it nuts with cars (NYC, Chapel Hill NC), swords (Japan), knives (China) or home made bombs (everywhere), insane people strike. They throw acid (Pakistan, UK), they throw fire bombs (France), they attack. What is worse, is, that the best way to stop a maniac is not psychology or jail or "talking to them", it is a bullet in the head, that is why they are a maniac, because they are incapable of living in reality or stopping themselves.
The excuse that people will start shooting each other is also plain and silly. So it is our politicians saying that our society is full of incapable adolescents who can never be trusted? Then, please explain how we can trust them or the police, who themselves grew up and came from the same culture?
No it is about power and a total power over the people. There is a lot of desire to bad mouth the Tsar, particularly by the Communists, who claim he was a tyrant, and yet under him we were armed and under the progressives disarmed. Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a barrel to the back of the ear.
So, do not fall for the false promises and do not extinguish the light that is left to allow humanity a measure of self respect.
In reply to Mat Rodina from Russia. I just want to say that this attitude of the leftists in the USA is not endorsed by the true majority of us who have grown up with a brain and common sense. My dad served in WW2 as an assignee to G2 which was an intelligence branch of the US Army. I remember very clearly my father telling me back in the mid 50s that the Russian people were in reality just like us. He said that if an American could ever or would ever meet a person, of the common folk ... the farmers, the workers, and those who missed the Tzars, we would actually get along well with them. But, of course there were those who fell into the stupidity of all Russians are bad, but for my whole life I remember what my father said, and that truth has made me a very open minded person and has driven me to learn the truth about many things. My thanks and my blessings go out to you, and your fellow Russians. We have all been lied to, and deceived by the Zionists. Believe this ... all Americans are not stupid, and there are many of us that will not give up our second amendment rights without a fight, and many of us would rather die on our feet fighting like a rabid wolverine than to live one unholy second on our knees as slaves to any person, government, or philosophy that would try to have us do so. God bless the regular freedom loving people every where.
I shortened your post and edited it to send to our paper to publish it. Here is the short version - do I have your permission to send this?

It is your left and the progressives who hate guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question.
Americans, fight your politicians for your 2nd amendment rights! Do not extinguish the light that is left to allow humanity a measure of self respect.
No more needs be said.
Americans, KEEP YOUR GUNS.
He who wants your gun, is your enemy.
Here is some advice for Russians. Get your Guns back. Make them from scratch if you have to. But reclaim your dignity and self-determination. A single-shot rifle alone is not much ,but a million single-shot rifles firing together is awesome.
We have punitive taxes that are shown to make all problems worse.
We have government spending that isn't in the interest of the average citizen.
We have a President clearly and openly opposed to a free market, to an armed populace, that campaigned four years ago for an armed government force, equal to the military, to be used to "manage" the nation's people. We have gone years, now, without a Federal budget, and a President that won't talk about cutting spending in his terms, but only lies about his "ten year" plans (reminiscent of the Russsian five year planning). We have a President that routinely placed people in positions requiring Senate approval, but bypassed that approval on technicalities, time after time.
The first NICS checks were opposed, in that they could be used to establish a registry of law-abiding gun owners, but was approved on the promise the applications for a check would never be kept -- then they were kept, and used in court, and for other reasons. Then the law was amended, and it was then legal for authorities to keep those "we won't peek" gun registration database entries.
The continuous progress toward a disarmed, and disabled, citizenry is well under way, in the US. It is past time to roll back some of that "progress", if we are to avoid the risk of blood bath of civil war, invasion, or tyranny, or a combination of the three.
We have secret "no fly" lists that no one is allowed to monitor, we have "SWATting", prank calls bringing armed police squads down the innocent, on the basis of personal grudges. We have the Department of Education with armed special response (SWAT) teams, for collecting past due student loans. We have renewed warrantless collection of private communications, to be used in whatever under-the-table nature anyone cares to use it for.
A good leader should see an armed populace as a source of strength and security for the nation, a reserve in times of trouble and a comforting reassurance of stability. A tyrant wishing to exploit that nation for other reasons, though, must fear any ability to counter wrongs against the nation.
Thanks for the warning.
Ok, you can post that.
As much as right of center voices deride the US as becoming more socialist, I don't think even they would characterize the US as socialist in contrast to European or even the Russian government which actually has state owned industries.
That and the premise that the US supported the red forces left me somewhat perplexed. I can't find any mention of significant US support for the Bolsheviks or any red forces in the 1917 civil war. Perhaps you wouldn't mind linking me to some citations of this?
thank you for your information on the history of armed russians before the bolsheviks. i am an american gunowner, i did not vote for obama, not because of his race, but because of what is in his head, marxism. i have my guns, and will keep my guns as long as i am alive, and hope we here will see obama gone and try to regain out freedom from the horde of useless appratchiks and commissars he has set over us.
The sources are scarce, as most such information has been surpressed, for obvious reasons, just like the sources that linked many US and UK top families to the Nazis. (example is Ford being the primary spokesman and publisher of Meine Kampf and getting Hitler's highest civilian award and Prescott Bush money laundering for Hitler till 1943). Ford by the way, was the main fence for stolen Russian art treasures and icons sold off by the Soviets for hard currency. He was also a resident of Moscow for a short time in the 1930s.
My suggestion is to start with one of the best sources on this topic: Professor Anthony Sutton, may he rest in peace. His two first books: Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution and Wallstreet and the Nazis summarizes in a pure archival fashion all of this. He, as a British professor, worked in the Hoover Institute, which is the American government archive. You can also listen to his lectures from the 1980s and 1990s. It took him years to get through massive US government censorship to get published.
Also, for your own information on whom and what are the Republican Party of America, read first about the 48ers, the 1848ers, who led 18 Marxist revolutions in 1848 in the various German and Italian kingdoms and were crushed, running to the US and forming the radical socialist Republican Party. Also can be read in the book The Red Republicans.
Yes, by all means, Texas will need friends and good ones. One thing about Russians, once we are your allie, we are your allie. We do not believe in the British/American concept of no permanent friends or allies, just business interests.
Many revisionists say that the Tsar should have never entered WW1 for Serbia. But to do so would have killed Russia even worse. We always stand and if need be, die by our allies. Our word is our lives and we never sacrifice our allies. That is the true Russian way.
In our history, when a guest left one lord and stopped at another lord's manor. If the second lord insulted the guest, the first lord was obligated by law and custom to wage war on the second lord. That is how far we go. That mentality is absolutely comprehensible to the modern West, which has no honour.
The more someone tries to disarm you, the more alarmed you should be.
We're now seeing a fever pitch of laws being crafted in DC, all of it riding on the emotions of the Sandy Hook carnage.
Don't buy it, those pushing for your guns care nothing for those killed as compared to how much they crave total control over you.
Gun control has nothing to do with guns, it's about control.
Some years ago I read a novel by Donald Kingsbury, "The Moon Goddess and the Son". A part of the story line explored the effect that the Mongol rule imposed on the Russian people, one of betrayal and selling out rivals in positions of authority, and how the legacy of that imposition of distrust still governs Soviet leadership today. This was before the USSR collapsed, so my reference is suspect on two acounts -- both the fictional base of my reading that happened to coincide with historic fact, and the form of government in place at the time.
I cannot help but believe that some form of feudal fealty must be the foundation for stabilizing the changes ahead. People taking responsibility not only for themselves and to those they owe allegiance to, but also for those beholden to them. I wonder if it was the Tsar that held such freedom for the Russian people, as the way the Communist Central Committee arrogated all relationships of responsibility to themselves.
Which, come to think of it, is also happening when we centralize our schools (Department of Education, national teacher's unions, consolidating school districts), central government health care and welfare, etc. I wonder how many Americans think, daily, how wonderful that the Founding Fathers decreed that the unified national defense -- was not permitted to operate as a military, inside the United States.
@Michael: see http://www.wildboar.net/multilingual/easterneuropean/russian/literature/articles/whofinanced/whofinancedleninandtrotsky.html
Just finished reading "The Communist" a book about Obama's mentor Frank Marshall Davis, and I am quite surprised and happy to see Russians coming to their senses while we fall again for the Communist in the White House. I hope that all God-fearing conservatives worldwide can rise up against the elite Socialists and bring a return of real freedom of the individual.
It is amazing how Liberals don't think through their emotional "seize the guns!" hysteria. So, tell me, you WANT to live in a nation where all the guns are in the hands of the government? Because you trust that government so much? Because the people in that government would never act in their own interests against yours?
It is amazing. But I guess because The Magical Negro is President, they feel all good about it. Perhaps they would feel differently if BushHitler were still President. Then again, maybe not. Liberalism is a death-cult, much like Islam, and since giving up any means to defend yourself against the State is a suicidal act, well that fits right in with the Liberal mentality.
But then, this all goes back to James Burnham's great remark, "The difference between a Liberal and a Communist is that the Communist knows what he's doing." The pathetic Liberals don't realize how the ideas in their heads are put there by Communists, and that the Communists know very, very well what they are about.
Guns in the hands of the American people -- and lets be even more clear, in the hands of white Americans -- are the only thing keeping a total Leftist tyranny at bay.
Never give your arms away.
Stan, to what do you attribute the reason these active and retired military meekly stood down while a few hundred officers and cadets got run over trying to defend the city? Did they not understand what they were dealing with and what the stakes were? Were they not under oath to defend Russia? Did they actually believe that the maggot infested, goat brained Marxist Lenin and his maggot infested wife were Russian patriots? With all the beautiful Russian women, Lenin ended up married to the monster Krupskiiya (sp?)…Russia’s early 20th century version of Hillary Clinton. No wonder he hated humanity in general and Russian humanity in particular. God alone knows how different Russian history of the past 90 years might have been had Lenin won the hand of one of your beautiful women Stan. So the 30,000 took the word of the Marxist swine, Moscow fell and Russia paid a terrible price. Saints preserve us!! How could so many have been so stupid?
Comrade Hussein the Immaculate will protect us in the glorious rainbow utopia and guns will not be needed. Dear Leader is the Messiah and will smote all with his scepter in his quest to protect us like a sugar daddy. Ummm...this kool-aid is delicious comrade.
The problem was, the government had fallen, the civil war was starting, the Tsar had abdicated and the Bolsheviks had promised, sworn, to leave non-participants alone. The officers were men of honour so one's word is one's word...they stayed out.
As for the Junkers and their officers, they held out in the Kremlin and after several storms and heavy losses, the Soviets offered them a truce: leave the city and leave alive. Food was running out and so was ammunition. They agreed.
But again, you're dealing with Leftists who are dogs with no honour. When they opened the gates, they were promptly put to a wall and shot.
As an American fighting against the loss of our Second Amendment rights, I wanted to say thank you for writing such an insightful and sobering article. You have done an excellent job of illustrating why these rights are so important. It's a sad fact that someone who has never had the opportunity to live under the freedoms that we are guaranteed, such as yourself, has a much better understanding of the importance of these rights, then millions of people who were born under and enjoy these rights every day.
Your post should be read by every person of voting age in the United States. Thank you.
I am greatly appreciative of your recent article on the situation in the US. I have noted in my own posts that GW Bush's most grievous error was alienating and isolating Russia when we could have been building a true partnership.
I plan to reference your post on the second amendment. I will of course link your blog and give full credit. It is reassuring to see that people outside of the US have a clear picture of what is happening here.
Great piece. I am not a gun nut, but I do believe in our right to bear arms.
Mr. Rodina, I read some of your other pieces as well. You paint Americans with too much of a broad brush. We're not all leftists.
You, Sir, have said a mouth full.
Thank you for saying it.
Thanks for the chuckle. I laughed especially hard at those dolts calling Obama a communist. Maybe one of the village idiots here can point me to a youtube video or a quote in print where Obama has advocated that workers(wealth creator in a company) actually own the means of production and therefore retain the dollars their labor creates. Obama is all for the redistribution of capitalism but that fact creates serious cognitive dissonance for the reich-wing morons here in America.
Thanks for your words of encouragement...Americans must not disarm...I do not intend to surrender mine...
As a soldier during the Cold War, I understood that Soviet Communist government might be our enemy, but I never believed the Russian people were...
Let's work for better understanding and relations between the American and Russian peoples...
Thanks for the encouraging and excellent advice...Most American gun owners understand we must never disarm, and what price we will pay if we do...
I've never regarded the Russian people as enemies; our governments were...
Let's work for better relations between our two peoples...We should be working together for advancement of freedom for mankind and exploring space together instead of warring...
Thank you for your warning, it looks to to be very true.
4 years ago my family only had one deer rifle and one small caliber other rifle, (we felt safe from our government back then) since then we increased that to 4 nice pistols, a short shot gun with a light mounted, and 2 small caliber rifles along with the deer rifle. Of those weapons at least 2 of then will be banned if the Senate passes the law they are soon to introduce. Also we have a good amount of ammo for all of the guns, and food storage to last for a good long time.
My wife and I have adopted 6 wonderful children from Russia back in 1994 through 1998, so have visited a few places in Russia. And we have only been mugged once visiting Russia, in StPetersburg on the subway. We have several friends still in Russia, and pray often that all is well for you. I have little trust in our American government these days, but love our original Constitution! I'm grateful to live far away from any of our city's.
I agree entirely about the historical examples of why we must hang on to our weapons. A couple of points, tho.
Soon after I started watching Russian movies, I was struck by so many Soviet movies showing guns in private hands - often illegally, of course. It made me wonder if Russia had a gun culture of its own. One person explained it to me as lots of handguns that came back from the war in the hands of former soldiers, guns that were issued to city mayors and ending up in other hands, etc., and legitimate weapons used for hunting. Would you agree with this characterization?
BTW, I have long been surprised that the Soviet economy worked as well as it did. One reason may have been that its system was not plagued with U.S. leftists. I am not at all certain that our own leftists, if they get all the power they want, will be as gentle and tolerant as the Russian revolutionaries were.
It's hard to say how it will play out, of course. It's also possible they will be less extreme.
anonymous @ 30.12.2012 20:46 - Lenin (Blank) was not an ethnic Russian and hated Russians. It's no secret. His "wife" Krupskaya, his international benefactors and most of his collaborators were even less Russian. So, no suprises there.
Two books I'd recommend are "The Rulers of Russia" (1940) by Dennis Fahey and "The Cause of World Unrest" (1920) by Howell Arthur Gwynne.
Unless we are discussing the right to wear sleeveless garments, it should be written "the right to bear arms.
Anon at 4:12 get back to your sobama shrine and leave the freedom to real human beings you lefty rat maggot piece of shit.
The subways are extremely safe now. No platform has less than 4-6 police officers on them now. Islamic terrorists taught us that we need shooters everywhere....but again, it is the police or military.
In Beslan, since pistols (not counting rubber bullet air pressure guns) are not allowed, the two police officers were quickly outgunned and shot down by the 30 or so Jihadists. The rest of the men who were caught were taken upstairs and shot right from the beginning.
We do have guns, but they are of two varieties: long barrels (rifles and shotguns) and must be kept in locked safes and traumatics (air pistols). These at close range..1 meter or less, can kill with a head shot, by basic blunt trauma. At 10 meters they are worthless.
There are, however, tons of guns in the hands of criminals. Many mafias have gone to old battlefields and dug up pistols, rifles, machineguns, grenades, etc.
As for the Soviet economy, it was shit. What a plant of 3,000 now produces it took 10,000, with 7,000 basically sitting around. There were no small or other enterprises to pull people up or into, so everyone had to "work" at such large factories. Many just sat there doing nothing or stamping an occassional form.
As for why it did not collapse so quickly, better question, why did the SU die owing just the US $48 billion? Because the Cold War was great business for Western oligarchs and politicians.
You misspelled "bear," your blog post is irrelevant.
I have said all along, they can pry my guns from my cold dead hands. Many I know feel this way. Sandy Hook was a something that should of never happened. The mother it's to blame. Everyone is reacting on emotions, not facts.
The Sandy Hook shooter was on Fanapt (a really bad drug), ALL these events were done by people on psychotropic drugs. This didn't happen 20 years ago. It's the drugs, Big Pharma knows it, and some in Congress know it. They also know it will happen again and they'll use the event to further their agenda. It's probably a "false flag" op.
It's "Bear" arms. Sorry but improper word usage makes you look like a moron. That is unfortunate, I agree with what you wrote:(
The Communist in the White House and the other Communists in Congress have been eating away at our individual freedoms for decades, nearly a century now. They don't care about Russian history of slaughter, or Hitler's or Mao's slaughter ...all they care about is power over masses of people. The attack on gun rights is not new, but is louder and louder and propped up by sycophants in the media. Sadly, it isn't just gun rights...it is all of our rights under attack. The situation (all of it, including the financial noose) is a rising crescendo here in America now. If the world has something to learn from this it is that no nation is immune from tyranny and corruption. A lot of us here in the U.S. are grieving as we suffer the power brokers' rigged games. I've had your blog linked at my blog for a long time, Stanislav...I intend to copy with credits what you have said here on the gun issue. Thanks.
Bear/bare -- let us see all the grammar nazis of the commentors write an article in Russian or any other language and we shall pick out their "moronic" mistakes also.
Hey, in response to the shooting in Connecticut I knew the left would begin to cry "gun control" (See The Emanuel Doctrine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mzcbXi1Tkk) I however believe the problem is self-control not gun control. I believe when the supreme court threw out faculty initiated prayer from our public schools in 1963 it opened Pandora's box. I thought we, as Christians should also move while these horrible tragedies are on everyone's mind so I wrote a petition to have prayer put back into our schools. Please consider signing this petition and sharing it with your social network. To learn more please visit my blog. Thanks. ---> http://ht.ly/gta8T
Mat, your article strikes home with me.
I saw this coming, a while back, and wrote my own thoughts on this, at http://capitalisteric.wordpress.com/2012/04/18/its-time-for-americas-military-to-choose-barack-hussein-obama-or-america/
Others in America are seeing oBungler for what he is, now... unofficial estimates put the total gun sales in the last 10 days... at 10 million weapons. Going by what I've seen at gun stores in the last few days (in California, the NON-friendly state for gun owners), I'd say that estimate may well be accurate.
I had to go to three major gun stores, before I could get in a line that would not take hours to get service from a salesman. "Assault" weapons and their associated ammunition were completely sold out in every store, most pistols were gone, and people were buying up whatever was left. It took a total of four hours to buy a small 9mm pistol.
But it's just the latest of many in my collection. :)
We will NOT comply. We will NOT be disarmed. The idiots in Washington D.C. can think whatever they like... But the sheer numbers tell the story: there are ~76 guns out there in civilian hands, for every armed agent of the government (including all military and police, Department of Homeland Security and the rest). 76:1!
The fools in Washington can believe anything they like. It doesn't matter. They will go TOO far, and will suffer the consequences for their arrogance and stupidity.
Final point: with regard to your skills in the English language, I salute you. I only wish my Russian skills were as good! ;)
If anyone one of your readers thinks that having a rifle will protect them from their government only have to look to Iraq or Afghanistan. The only way to protect yourself is to elect people that will protect your rights otherwise your vain effort will fail. You will not stop an army with chemical biological or nuclear weapons. You will not stop a jet a tank a helicopter or a drone. You are the weapon the rifle is just a tool, time to grow up.
Nice article. Things will not be simple though. The Feinstein proposal is being pushed...it is not the fight for United States Citizens Rights, us Americans, but a fight that is fought politically also at the UN level, that wants to abolish the rights of citizens of the world of every nation to have any weapons. As far as the US,as soon as a MAJOR EVENT, such as WWIII breaks in, then masses will be hoarded to football stadiums as they did with Americans of Japanese heritage in WWII. This time it will be the average 'Joe' for the protection of the state as it now has to fight an external danger and it cannot afford an internal danger, and thus it will be supported by a lot of Americans. Americans will still own guns it it will be those Americans that have sided with a repressive state. And Yes, Patriots and Christians will die for freedom, things will get much worse, and then the flash from the Sun will come...and then the party will really start with the opening of the gates...then the guillotines that have been paid for with American tax dollars and have arrived from China will be used, hence the word in the Apocalypse of John ...he saw the ones who fell under the ax 'pelekys' beheaded for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 2013 is promising to be a very 'apocalyptic' year. Pray without ceasing.
@ Anon 1:08,
" It's the drugs,"
This is simplistic; we called it "going postal" when shootings happened (in Federal buildings not allowing guns), and we didn't blame it all on drugs, legal or otherwise. The office shooting in Sunnyvale, CA, and others, were emotionally criminal acts, some stemming from court restraining orders in cases when abuse and anger argued for incarceration. Or maybe we need to try using exile to manage certain situations.
Barry Goldwater put it succinctly, "You cannot legislate morality". Laws boil down to rulers making rules to protect their interests. Democracy (with sponsored candidates and special interest pressures and 'guidance'), warlord, monarch, or communist committee -- rules and laws help keep those in power, in power. Sometimes the law supports a particular interest (tax breaks, copyright protection to protect holders, instead of to encourage new and original thoughts and works that would benefit the nation), sometimes just making the rule can get a person a better job, more income or prestige. *cough*, *cough*, Feinstein, *cough*.
Well said. I Don't Agree with everything Russia is doing today but I am beginning to believe she may be the west's last hope.
Yes, I said that.
...We in Russia feel that there are few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA except for one thing: the right to bear arms...
Many Americans agree with you, including myself. Thirty years ago, America was an admirable country. Today, the America I was raised to love and honor, almost does not exist any more, as homosexuals and socialists have nearly completely ruined it. The right to bear arms is the ONLY good thing we still have!
Thirty years ago, as a teenage boy, I was practicing shooting, learning survival skills, and scouting out hiding places in the California hills, all in preparation for the "Red Dawn War" that never came. I never thought I'd live to see the day when PRAVDA would run an article supporting the US 2nd Amendment, and the US presidency would be illegally occupied by a communist infiltrator. How things change...
True Americans and true Russians are natural allies. It's only the godless communists, from Lenin to Obama, who would make us fight. Let's pray it never happens.
Oh, and best wishes for the recovery of General Kalashnikov.
I appreciate your input on this matter. A lot of Americans need to read this, but take heart my friend, there are millions of us who will not go quietly. Its going to be much, much harder than they are thinking it will be
Thank you for this. This is something that the left in America do not understand. They keep pushing for guns to be used for "peaceful, hunting purposes". Guns are used for a variety of purposes, but the most important is self-defense... from the "bad guys", but also from your own government...
"If it had not been for Washington's clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently".
I just finished reading Des Griffins book "Descent into Slavery" he states that Russia was deceived and set up for the Red takeover not by Washington (although Washington was taken over a few years prior by these same people in the Federal Reserve act) but by the international bankers led by the Rothschild's.
Page 66 " when Trotsky's private army of ruthless cutthroats, whose 'boot camp' was located on Standard Oil property in New Jersey, was sufficiently trained for its campaign of subversion and terror, they sailed from New York onboard the S.S. Kristianiafjord bound for Russia. with them on the ship was $20,000,000 on gold, supplied by International Banker Jacob Schiff. This vast sum was to help pay the many, varied expenses involved in such a herculean undertaking. This fact was later confirmed by Jackob Schiff's grandson, John ( Knickerbocker Column, New York Journal American, February 3, 1949).
Both our countries were taken over by this cancer about the same time, unfortunately Russia's was WAY more bloody and complete. Rothschild=Red Shield= Red,s.
To all those who think the US military and government is undefeatable then plese explain what happened in Viet Nam, Iraq, and Afghanistan? If you say those are such great victories then please explain by what measure you call it a victory.
This is my first trip to your blog. I am of Eastern European descent (Polish/Russian) and I grew up to many stories from my grandfather about how horrible the Soviet Union was.
Anyhow, governments disarming the public has been a precursor to mass abuse/murder in so many different occasions. I wish more people understood that here in the US. I'm afraid with Comrade Obama that our days are numbered with guns. Many gun stores are no longer selling assault rifles after the school shooting last month. There's another initiative to ban high-capacity gun magazines in many states.
I hate watching the downfall of this country, especially the systematic eradication of our rights and the trampling on/disregard for the Constitution.
He is from another country... I have lived in a foreign country... it is very difficult to grasp the subtle differences in words like this in a different language. Being so harsh is not a nice thing. Should such a small mistake negate such a great post? I think not.
As one of the "dolts" you refer to, I have taken the time and effort to read Obama's books (take pity on me) and it becomes very obvious where his agenda lies. To paraphrase an old adage, birds of a feather flock together and the hawk doesn't sit among them. Check Obama's associations and educators, by his admission in his own books, he sat among the socialist pigeons. When one is educated by socialists, writes like a socialist and acts like a socialist, he is one. The detail about workers being owners is a red herring, it is unnecessary to qualify as a closet-socialist.
ps: It's also obvious that you suffer from idea rejection, based your name calling tendencies. Smearing your opposition is a liberal-socialist tactic utilized by socialist Obama.
I don't see any immediate need to arm myself against the government. But it's the principle that counts, the right to so arm myself. That right is completely in keeping with the spirit and philosophy of our Declaration of Independence and our historical understanding of the source of political legitimacy: " . . . when a long train of abuses and usurpations . . . evinces a design to reduce [us] under absolute Despotism, it is [our] right, it is [our] duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for [our] future security." What exactly are "abuses and usurpations" and "absolute Despotism"? Depends on the times and the People. But once we've decided, how do we THROW OFF a Government and provide for ourselves "new Guards"? Probably not through voting or complaining in social media. Probably by shooting or at least threatening to shoot (and having the means to do so). As our Founding Fathers said, it would be our right, and our duty. I don't expect it in our lifetime, but the principle stands -- we NEVER so trust a government -- any government -- that we disarm ourselves and put ourselves absolutely and permanently at its mercy.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling that thinks nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he values above his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of men better than himself.
John Stuart Mill 1850
I suggest you go to www.ssristories.org to see the real tragedy of what BIG Pharma, along with the greedy doctors, are doing to naive, poorly educated patients. Thousands of destroyed lives for the sake of profits. Shameful!
read your post well

I live in NZ but have family in NYC, Penn, CA and let me tell you, you are as socialist as anywhere. How many recieve govt benefits or subsidies?
What % of citizens don't work and are paid or recieve "tax credits" ?
The Reds were financed by Warburg and other bankers, if you remember your history, the train carrying Lenin to Russia from Switzerland was paid for by them. This was basic A level modern (1860+) history when I was at school in UK, 1970-1977.
Thanks for these I will find them to read.
Back in the late 80's, I was a nuclear weapons officer. We were indoctrinated to believe that the Soviets wanted us all dead - that they were our mortal enemies. Later, in my career, I ended up on a "humanitarian" mission bringing medicine into Moscow. It was really a propaganda operation - lots of pictures taken as we formed a "bucket brigade" of alternating Soviet and American troops unloading all the medicine from the plane. While waiting around for another plane to come in, there was an uneasy silence between the groups of soldiers - each clustering together throwing the occasional suspicious glance at the other group. At one point, one of the Soviet soldiers (much to the displeasure of their "handlers") told a joke that started our something like "Hey, Amerikanski - what do you call a blah, blah, blah?" - and we all laughed. Shortly after that, we were all sharing pictures of girlfriends, trading miscellaneous pieces of uniforms, and actually having a good time. I suddenly realized that these guys didn't want to see us dead any more than we did them - that we'd BOTH been lied to.
In my years in the military, I found this same phenomenon over and over - people I'd been told hated me, really didn't - they just wanted to be left alone to live in peace. The only entities who "hate" other entities and foment that same hatred in their people are GOVERNMENTS.
Because of the fact that we don't, as people of the world, recognize and weed out people who exhibit psychopathic behavior, they tend to filter to positions of power where they stroke their egos with greed and control over others. Until we, as a race, realize that there is no legitimate reason for one man to have dominion over another, we will always have this "disease" (Zionism in it's current livery) destroying and defiling our lives. We must change what we value and change how we think to be truly free.
I hope someday to travel back to Russia to rediscover her people, land, and culture. We should ALL be allies.
I agree, a centralised govt never leads to freedom.
A canton or regional govt as the original USA constitution is best.
Staes/cantons/rtegions should always hold sway over central govt and overrule it if need be.
So should the courts be able to be overruled by statute and stood down, not life as now.
freedom and liberty are the watchwords of a society that values family/whanau and the individuals in it.
problem is that stands on a common value or moral set and if you don't have common values you can't have common sense.
This is reinforced by an educated citizen.
If 50% of Americans didn't vote for the Dems then at lead the tea party would have a chance at the Republicans.
You now have a list of Repuplicans who not to vote for next time from the last vote in the senate.
The power is in your hands, if you don't vote you lose quicker.
Was the school a "gun free zone"?
There you go.
You know you have reposted multiple places???
If any enemy, foreign or domestic, tried to take away guns it would go very poorly for them.
First, I know of nobody who would voluntarily relinquish all of their firearms. If it was done be force in earnest it would start a revolution, the US in that incarnation would not be worth preserving.
Secondly, not all military would obey orders to disarm the public as it would widely be viewed as unlawful. There is a tremendous difference between choosing to fight halfway around the world as there is fighting in your home town against your neighbors.
Third, they don’t have the numbers on their side. The US army is approximately the size of the number of deer hunters in the state of Pennsylvania. Just one state has as many people tramping through the woods with firearms intent on killing in the month of November as what the US army consists.
The only option to disarm the American public would be through a long protracted legislative action that would take generations to peacefully complete. Essentially you would have to get one generation of people use to the idea of limitations on ownership before you could squeeze further. I think we are currently seeing this, a very gradual slippery slope.
The best thing we can do is introduce non gun owners to firearms, take them shooting, make them your friends and breed it out of them. Make your enemy your ally. I’ve bought firearms as gifts for several people in my life, if legal, and appropriate to the relationship, and experience of the individual I highly suggest this. Trap and skeet shooting is wonderful for this as it has been generally seen as more of a gentlemen’s game. It’s also great training for potential nastiness in the future, once you can routinely hit fast moving targets with bird shot, it is a relatively easy transition to hit slower moving targets with buckshot.
Whilst I admit that I found myself on this blog by chance whilst surfing another blog that is after fighting for the restoration of rights of all Americans especially their 2nd Amendment in such difficult times. I don't regret that I came across this site and have found it very interesting. I seldom participate in blogs but I felt the need to leave my input.
I wish to thank you for the valid information and look forward in looking up the books mentioned above. It is always interesting to learn how the last hundred year’s world politics were molded, not by real politicians and honest ideals but by the corrupt puppets on strings pulled by the mega bankers and elite.
This all happened because the people were naive as unfortunately I feel they still are. First it was through poor education and high illiteracy which paved the way to mind manipulation. The elite's move was to divert the people's attention away from their evil machination and manipulation of the governments thanks to the creation of various media that fitted their purposes perfectly. This was heavily used for war propaganda and after by diverting the focus on frivolous shows backed by the same mega corporations and mega money making sports organizations that occupied the population in their free time throughout their life.
This was fuelled by the false promises of the American dream which became a stalwart of every western country including even Europe, with the big EU dream! Yet people never and still don’t understand what’s behind the curtains. One of the results we are experiencing today is the austerity measures that are underway by many countries resulting in layoffs, increased working more hours and people seeking a second job and more... thus turning into zombies, totally brain dead, a truly successful way in keeping the citizen away from being informed and capable of seeking the truth by asking why?
The next big move is gun confiscation, which will start with the US and move to the rest of the world through the UN by next March! Whilst the big proponents of democracy which personally I feel it’s nothing more than another word for the New World Order sell arms and even go to the extent of giving a blatant statement to the media boasting they are helping rebels through arms shipments to help them take down their so called dictator governments and label them as terrorists. How can one be more hypocrite than this?
All I feel that this is like positioning the chess pieces strategically like in on a chess board, ready for the final move then when the time is right…………CHECKMATE!
My dear Sir,
Oh how your writing moved me. Long have I admired teh Tsar and his family, he was a man of rare quality and in these dark days it is rare to think we can find a leader such as he. The Bolsheviks slaughtered that family like hogs. This cannot ever be forgotten nor should it be forgiven.
I've been reading The Last Days of the Romanovs, by Robert Wilton and in that book he documents the evil that was perpetrated not just against that holy and good family, but against the Russian people, particularly the good and the devout. I thank God that we got to know the White Russians who had escaped and who told the truth. Russia has suffered, long and bitter, but Mother Russia will regain her place, and Christ will lead you to that success. We look to RUSSIA, now, as the bulwark against this revival, in the US, of the Bolsheviks.
May God bless you and your family and Russia.
"God doesn't abandon us." - Maria Nikolaevna
I recall many years ago, our ship (LPH) pulled into Naples, Italy for a port visit. Across the birth was a ship from Russia. While out on liberty having a beer with some of my squadron, we had an opportunity to meet several sailors from the Russian ship. What started out as cautiously reserved conversation, was by nights end, a conversation filled with laughter and what I believe was a better understanding of ourselves and our supposed enemy across the Atlantic. I returned to my ship that night with the knowledge that our Russian counterparts didn't want to fight us anymore than we wanted to fight them. It's the politicians who start wars. We just happen to be the ones who do the fighting and dying for these little men with overinflated egos.
@ Anon 5:17
(CV, CLGN), Yep.
We here in the US tend to overlook the "civilian control" aspect of our armed forces. Those in power decide that a show of force here, armed intervention over there, serves their purposes. They use the army and other forces as a weapon, something they use to change their opponent's mind.
An armed force performs its task, usually, by destroying the opponent's ability to do something -- exert government or economic control over a region or other objective, be able to exert armed actions against us (by destroying supplies, weapons, soldiers, etc.).
What we overlook, too often, is that often in history a nation raised an army, and the generals decided to use what they had to advantage. Caesar's excursions into Gaul, the Mongol invasions of Russia, China, and Europe, and many of the wars that we faced, prior to WWI. Bandit and pirate forces, Al Quaida and other "organizatins", secular and religious, that operate outside a legitimate government's control are one reason a standing, ready, armed force is necessary.
Our armed forces under civilian control stand between our peaceful (!) lives and someone in another country convincing enough people that they can make enough money, capture enough oil, achieve their destiny of wealth or control, by sending armed forces against other peoples.
Almost never, do the minds that must be changed come near where the fighting is.
As for the soldier? In order to face battle, a solder, an army, must have an enemy that is a threat to their lives.
Don't confuse the need for soldiers, and facing battle, with the implications of men in suits choosing to spend thousands of lives for whatever purpose.
What American wars achieve, often enough, looks like profits to business men, or empire building. Losses of most of those battles and wars, though, would often mean increased starvation, deaths, and profits by other businessmen and warlords not reined in by American laws.
Refuse to fight, as gun owners or as a nation, and you surrender the chance to choose your path to the biggest bully and best armed warlord.
In response to MikeNZ-the percentage I have heard is the infamous 47% that Mitt Romney spoke about. That is sickening to me, a person who doesn't take handouts and works 60+ hours a week. I hope I am never in the position to need federal assistance, but if that ever happens I would do whatever I could to change my situation as quickly as possible. I could tell so many stories of those who work the system so that they don't have to work. Those are some of the same people who somehow believe that gun control will keep the psychos from committing violent crimes. It's like these people are brainwashed. I am almost embarrassed to call myself an American.
@ Anon 12:42,
"the percentage I have heard is the infamous 47% that Mitt Romney spoke about. . . I hope I am never in the position to need federal assistance, but if that ever happens I would do whatever I could to change my situation as quickly as possible."
But that is the problem, right there.
For many of those that start taking assistance to keep food on the table, the programs are so fraught with requirements supposedly intended to keep those away that shouldn't be indulging, that if you want to keep eating, you have to keep "qualifying". There is no graceful transition, just a cliff to get off, just as scary as the cliff you fell over to get onto the program.
If the nation were affluent enough to actually care for all of those in need, those needs could be met much more efficiently, more humanely, and with a much more effective transition to a "productive" life of less need.
There are several problems, politicians and bureaucrats reap the rewards of homage for continuing entitlement programs, they have no incentive to reduce the spending or the dependency. Those on the programs receive money, not help from a person, so their "allowance" seems unburdened with responsibilities, beyond meeting program guidelines to stay on the program (which often includes "proving" they are still in need). And, lastly, the purpose of government handouts is less about keeping people fed and sheltered, than living the middle class, affluent-like, consumerist lifestyle that suits so many special interests.
That is, the model is all wrong. The Bible lesson of "Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime," applies, here. Entitlements give a man a fish. Christians ought to be appalled at the dead-end, false pride notion of sending people money to buy food. Non-Christians ought to be appalled that a system was created that foists an unnatural lifestyle and dependency on people that have needs -- and encourages others to strive to use the programs instead of serving their community, and themselves. We all ought to be appalled that instead of meeting needs, we condemn people to learn unhealthy lifestyles, making them even less suitable for employment, for service, and for contributing to family, community, and state.
Your words have made it to the southern pine forrests of Texas. I thank you for them. God be with you.
thank you for good article. With your permission I would like to put in on our libertarian new website www.galtnewsnetwork.com. I am one of the Jewish refugees from former SU who lives in America now. Agree with most of your points, but I was shocked to see some comments going toward "Zionist" conspiracy. It is sad to realize that in both coutries people who love American Constitution could also be blinded by Antisemitism. Could you comment on this?
There is a sick irony in my finding this column in PRAVDA.
Back during the Cold War, major American news outlets often used Pravda for a source.
Today, it seems that Pravda is too libertarian to suit the "Progressive" bias of the Washington Post or NBC News.
Great article and how true...A lot of Americans have been so dumbed down they don't understand.
The issue isn't gun control...
It is control of the American people.
Taxes are going up,not down.
Regulation is going up, not down.
Freedoms are being taken away for the American citizen.
This is due to the dumbing down of our children...What better way to take control of a people. Educated people question what is going on. Un educated people like the free handout...This is not Obama money, this is money paid in taxes by the working Americans to build our country...
Guns never killed a single person. The person pulling the trigger killed the people. When you close mental health facilities and put the patients on the street you get these type of happenings...Not just in America either...
Sure am glad I have the right to have a gun with me. I may need to defend myself or family from just this type of psycho.
Only criminals will have guns when they take away a nations right to bear arms...Americans need to wake up and defend their rights and freedoms. Your Fathers, Grandfathers and Great Grandfathers fought for you to have these rights and freedoms, why are you as Americans so willing to give them up.
The big and getting bigger Government only cares about themselves...Did you ever notice how the laws are exempt from the politicians...hmmm food for thought. Maybe there not really good laws for any of us...
Thanks for the Russian perspective on this..It is right on...
Who would believe those words coming from a person whose government has been at odds with the United States for so many years. Thank you for standing up for our Second Amendment rights.
Nice blogspot; heavy words for thought. Rick summed it all up. Dumbing down of our children since the '60's has not bore it's fruits.
Excellent article about guns, you will have me as a reader well into the future!
Thank you, sir. You're totally right. American media is corrupt and is heavily fueling the hysteria to legitimize taking away our basic ability to defend our freedom. God help this country.
Awesome article. thank you.
Mat, Would it be okay if I shared this on my blog? Thanks, Lisa My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Mr. Rodina, This is one of the best blogs I've seen. Very Very good thoughts and words. Would it be okay if I shared this on my new blog? Please let me know. Thanks.
Christian Taylor, YOU'RE AN IDIOT !!!!!!!!!!! As "Anonymous" just pointed out, a small mistake of usage does not contradict the truth of this post. No, it doesn't make the poster look like a moron - YOUR comment makes YOU look like a moron!!! And a womanish nitpicker, too.

Thank you for your interest and consideration.
PS: I find you and I agree on many things. Check out my website: Http://sprtr76.org
I have read with great interest your blog post regarding gun control. With no disrespect meant personally, can you tell me where i can find more history about the disarming and massacre of 30,000 former officers and citizens in Moscow? As you say in your article, that is not history much discussed here in the U.S. I would greatly appreciate any reading recommendations on this topic.
Thank you for you timely 'wake-up' call to us Americans. "The sun hangs low on the horizon" for us so long as o'who? is our president. I reposted your article on my blog at: http://harrolds.blogspot.com/2013/01/americans-never-give-up-your-guns.html
Aw, this was a really good post. Taking the time and actual effort to generate a top notch article… but what can I say… I put things off a whole lot and never seem to get anything done.
I don't plan on giving up my guns …Nice article!
Comrades doesn't China want America disarmed and the military gutted when they come to collect on the 17trillion?
I have a question about the claim that "If it had not been for Washington's clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently."
Until now I had been under the impression that Washington aided the Whites through a direct, though very limited, intervention. If it were claimed that Washington aided the Reds---in the 1940s---to make Europe less dangerous for the Communist Party and the social democrats, I would have agreed wholeheartedly. But your claim as it stands needs elaboration.
No quarrel, however, with the claim that leftists do not hate guns. In fact, it has long been obvious that leftists have such a high regard for the efficacy of guns that they eagerly support the cops and military personnel whom they expect to do their dirty work for them while armed with guns. After all, why would anyone pay taxes to support the welfare state if there were not armed cops to intimidate the populace? And what good is a modestly armed domestic military, i.e. the cops, if the police department if not backed up by a bona fide military?
Washington sent troops to Archangelsk to strictly guard the depots from the Germans. There were some initial incidents with the Bolsheviks but Woodrow Wilson put an end to that. He further granted Trotsky and a lot of German communists US citizenship so that they could sale for Russia and not be arrested.
Later, the US Army evacuated the Czech Legion out of Russia, thus stripping the Siberian Whites of their best two divisions of infantry. Then the US held the Siberian Railway and handed it over to the various Soviets that were forming in the towns that were stripped of White forces. So the US played an extremely key role in making sure the Reds could march through Siberia.
US businessmen, meanwhile were the PR, HR and Finance side of the Soviet operations. They poured money in, worked heads of state to abandon the Whites, published pamphlets...all the major US families were in on this and they all got rewarded by getting rid of America's main economic competitor and then getting to run the Russian industry (making big money) in the first, third and fourth 5 year plans. Second the Soviets tried themselves and failed...all the engineers and managers were either fled or shot.
Your article is even more important now than when you wrote it almost three years ago. Our communist dictator, Obama, who would have been impeached seven years ago if he were a White man, is still proving what every other communist and national socialist dictator of the last century and a quarter knew. Temporal power comes from the barrel of a gun. Which is why our Founding Fathers added the Second Amendment to our currently ignored Constitution.
